Magical writing and beautiful illustrations! This transported me to a part of the world that I do not know very well. Thank you for the introduction to the gateway to heaven!
Such great history, too, Elisabeth, and an amazing description of the Lego-like interlocking pieces of the Alhambra. I wish I could try the recipe but. . . no artichokes and not yet fava beans. With the weather we're experiencing in Maine (cold, wet, humid, rainy, misty, foggy), we may never have anything but spinach. But coliflor, now, there's a great idea!
each installment, each story and recipe and as always: each series of drawngs...so unique and special. I feel lucky each time your newsletter drops. and i get excited: whats she going to tell us, show us, feed us, this time?

Hadn't realised the Alhambra was a flat pack. That is wondrous.

So lovely to revisit the Alhambra through your evocative drawings . A portable palace, as it turns out.
Great writing, wonderful illustrations- I wonder if my too long refrigerated cauliflower will come up looking so good !? Thank you
